Smile

This weeks post (off last week for MLK Day) is to photograph a smile. While that may seem simple, it is more complicated if you can't photograph people or animals smiling. I searched high and I searched low to find what I have below.

Horizon

Ohio River Sunrise

 The first assignment for my Cabell County Digital Imaging class is to photograph a horizon. For the assignment I ventured out on Sunday, January 13, to capture images of the day. All images are unedited and straight out of the camera. I used the Cannon EOS Rebel T3i and 18-55mm lens that came with the camera. As you can see from the images the day changed quickly as the clouds rolled in ahead of the rain.

Ashland Cemetery

 When I take a picture, I want to capture a moment in time. The image needs to tell a story. Each of these pictures captures what an early Sunday morning looked like in Eastern Kentucky. Through these pictures I can feel the moment and convey it to my audience.
